Tamao Mountain is Cambodia’s foremost wildlife sanctuary, is a home for animals confiscated from traffickers or saved from poachers traps. Tonle Bati is the collective name for a pair of old Angkorian-era temple (Ta Prohm & Yeay Peau) and a popular lakeside picnic area, which offer some interesting bas-reliefs in fairly good condition. Both were built under Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century.
