HG Travel was honored as one of the Top 10 travel business in Vietnam in 2006. The award was granted by Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) based on criteria such as sustainable business development, safety for tourists, human resource development, respect laws and regulations and contribution to the development of local communities, etc.  This is the 2nd time HG Travel was honored among top travel businesses. The company was awarded same title in 2003.

Ten best hotels were also awarded by VITA included Ben Thanh, Majestic, Caravelle, De Nhat in Hochiminh City; Melia, Sofitel Plaza, Nikko, and Sofitel Metropole in Hanoi;  Furama Resort in Da Nang; Ana Mandara in Nha Trang.
