Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

You will take an overnight express train (soft sleeper berth) from Hanoi to Lao Cai province.

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa - Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Sapa (B)

Upon arrival, you will be met the Railway station of Lao Cai town. We then drive 35km to the former hill station of Sapa. On the way enjoy panoramic views of mountains and valleys in the region. Check in the hotel in Sapa for breakfast and short break.
We spend this afternoon for a short trek to Cat Cat valley, meeting some H’mong villages.  Then continue walking to Sin Chai village, home to black H’mong minority group before back to Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa – Matra - Suoi Ho - Ta Phin – Sapa (B/L)

After breakfast, we spend whole day trekking up and down hills, through the forests or on terraced rice fields, to visit other hill tribe villages.  We will pass through Black Hmong ethnic minority in Matra and Suoi Ho villages. Then take a short visit to a local school and enjoy a picnic lunch en route.
After lunch, we head toward Ta Phin village, home to Black Hmong and Red Dzao minorities, the two largest ethnic groups in the area.  Return Sapa by car and then transfer to Lao Cai for overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 4: Arrive Hanoi

The train will arrive in Hanoi in early morning. The trip concludes.
