Day 1 (THU): Hanoi – Lao Cai

You will take an overnight express train (soft sleeper berth) from Hanoi to Lao Cai province (370km).

Day 2 (FRI): Sapa – Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai San - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B/L/D)

On arrival in Lao Cai, you will be picked up and transferred by private car to Sapa town. After breakfast, we start trekking along a dirt trail through terraced rice paddies and minority villages. You will enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river. The area is still covered by rain forest under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. After two-hour trek, we arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black H'mong minority, where you can take a rest in a nice spot near the beautiful river for lunch.
In the after noon, we continue walking for one hour to Lao Chai San and Lao Chai villages, also home to Black H’mong. Another one hour trek will take us to Ta Van village, inhabited by Dzay minority. Tonight we will have dinner and overnight in Dzay's hut.

Day 3 (SAT): Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan –Sapa (B)

After breakfast, we head up to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao tribe where you will see the amazing scenery and beautiful waterfall. We continue along small paths in the rice fields, crossing the Muong Hoa River and trek up to Su Pan where we will transfer back to Sapa by car. The rest of day is free for leisure or shopping in town.

DAY 4 (SUN):  Sapa - Bac Ha market (B/L)

This morning we take a scenic drive to Bac Ha (70km) via a winding road with breath-taking mountain views. Visit Bac Ha market, opened on Sunday only and considered the most lively and crowded in the region. It attracts a large number o f Flower H’mong, Nung, Phu La, Tay hill tribe groups.
After lunch, we take two-hour trek to visit Flower H’mong at Ban Pho village and then transfer back to Sapa. In late afternoon, you will transfer to Lai Cai train station for overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 5 (MON): Arrive Hanoi

The train will arrive in Hanoi in early morning. The trip concludes.
